My Music

Ok, you asked for it. Here they come, some of the results of my what some may call "creativity". All of them in the handy MP3 format, playable with WinAMP, Sonique, UltraPlayer, XMMS or anything else, and all of them free to use as long you don't even think about earning money with them (This includes song collections on audio and data CDs, commercial web sites, commercial internet radio stations et al) - in this case, ask me for permission or die painfully. It's up to you.

Note: Some of the files may come wrapped into a .ZIP archive because of the rules of ftp.scene.org which accepts only zipped file uploads. You can unpack them with a variety of free tools for all operating systems, the most prominent of them being WinZip.

The songs:

Picknick in the Meadow (2001, Chill-Out electro)

The sound track for our small invitation intro for the Mekka & Symposium 2001 (see here), done entirely with my own software synthesizer.

.the .product main score (2000, EBM/Electro/Industrial)

Done with my own software synthesizer for the 64K demo .the .product (see here and here), it shows how much can be done with 4K of music data, 10K of code and three weeks of time for everything :) Enjoy this 11 minute electro trip.

.the .product loader (2000, elevator music)

The music playing while our 64K demo .the .product initializes itself. Due to the long calculation time on some computers, we thought that some nice background music could ease the viewer's boredom, and what would fit better than Yamaha-Home-Organ-ish bossa nova elevator music for this.

Black 2000 - Even Darker Remix (2000, dark EBM)

Done for fun, as I wanted to remix our demo "FR-06: Black 2000" (see here) and play around with distorted drums and industrial style anyway. Friend of dark electronic music should download this.
(Original (C) Leonard "Paniq" Ritter 2000)

The LAN Trailer (2000, EBMish sound track with vocals/FX)

As the organizers of the "The LAN" network gaming party are friends of mine, I got the opportunity to do the sound for their trailer video. The video itself shows the organizers playing Counter Strike in real life, and I thought that electro-style music would fit best. The sound effects and voices were done in a real hurry without any professional speakers, so don't expect too much from them, still, it was fun :)

To the End of Time (1999, Pop/Soul)

A piece that a my friend Ann-Kathrin wrote on a lonesome evening with lots of tea. The Lyrics were written by her, and she also composed the melody of the verses - all I had to do was making a song out of it, and I think we succeeded pretty well.

VIIP - The Trailer (1999, Soundtrack, orchestral)

A fast-made sound track for a trailer video for the Lanparty Hude", a network gaming party located in Hude, Germany, and one of my first serious tries to compose orchestral, film-like music.

Astro-Ellipsoid III (1999, Chill-Out electro)

Done just for fun after watching too much of "Space Night", nice and chilling. Perfect to loop it for hours.

MS2000 Invitation sound track (2000, Chill-Out electro)

Just as "Picknick in the Meadow", this was attempt #1 to write a software synthesizer and do music with it. Kinda fast-made, but still nice to listen to. Used in the Mekka & Symposium 2000 invitation intro, which you can find here.

Feel The Power (1999, Synthpop)

Again a song done by Ann-Kathrin and me, but this time entirely written by me, and I only abused her as female singer. What came out was a nice synthpop tune with many melodic and harmonic elements. Worth a try.

Z2 - Der Zementmixer II (1999, Swing/Big Band)

Uh... long story. Too long. Just look up the site of the Underground Conference 3D, try to find out what it is, and then try to imagine what kind of music would fit best into the "Multichannel with Live Support" competition of this event. And then, download this and be surprised once more.
"Das ist Weltklasse!" (Thomas Rainer, L'Ame Immortelle)

Überall nur Dixi-Klos (2000, Gothic Electro, NOT available for download for legal reasons)

An infamous parody version of the Song "Bitterkeit" by L'Ame Immortelle which deals with the inacceptable situation around the toilets on some music festivals and thus gained much appreciation throughout the whole german Gothic scene. I won't give you a download link, as this would be major copyright infringement, I'm damn happy that nobody sued the ass out of me for this anyway. So, if you want it, don't write me an email, I won't give it to you. Period. Just wait until your local goth DJ plays it :)
(Original "Bitterkeit" (C) L'AME IMMORTELLE / BMG Music 1998)

All songs are (C) 1997-2001 Tammo "kb" Hinrichs, unless stated otherwise.
