What would the net be without its interconnectivity? Well, maybe pretty the same, but many people would have less hits. So i'll please some of these and help weaving...
Sites I host
---
A collective of sick-minded programmers and multimedia artists (which i'm part of), always in search of new ways to squeeze weird visuals and audio out of your computer. If you are the lucky owner of a decent 3D card, this is definitely a place to check out.
Die Grenzgänger - Live (http://www.grenzgaenger-live.de, German!)The home page of our Vampire - The Masquerade live action role playing group "Die Grenzgänger"... If you know some German and are interested in that kind of role playing, feel free to click :)
Companies I work(ed) for
---
One of Germany's largest post-production companies, which has also been producing computer games for a few years. They released the PC/Playstation game "Killerloop" and its Dreamcast version "Magforce Racing", for which I did the musical score.
Inverse Entertainment (http://www.inverse-entertainment.com)Founded in 2000, Inverse Entertainment concentrates mainly on game conversions (from PC to consoles and vice versa), game development middleware and mid-size intranet solutions.
ProVisio (http://www.provisio.com, German/English)ProVisio's main product is the internet terminal software "SiteKiosk", which is widely regarded as the most stable and best in its field.
Abraxas Medien (http://www.abraxas-medien.de, German/English)A media design studio located in Bremen, Germany, which does everything from multimedia CD-ROMs to corporate IDs and Shockwave games.
The demo scene
---
The biggest and most complete archive of everything the modern demo scene has done so far. Many hosted sites, and tons of ftp space. If you're into demos (now), check this out.
Orange Juice (http://www.ojuice.net)Perhaps THE demo scene web magazine. Featuring news, reports, a data base of sceners and the groups they're in, photos and much much more
Pouët.net (http://www.pouet.net)Another fine site dedicated to demos and the scene. Lots of productions, featuring screen shots and reviews.
Calodox Demolinks Exchange (http://cde.calodox.org)A demo review site. Post your own reviews of demos or read what others think of yours. Really a valuable resource if you want to find out what's hot and what ain't.
Mekka & Symposium (http://ms.demo.org or http://www.mekka-symposium.com)The site of the perhaps best demo scene party, taking place every easter in Fallingbostel/Germany. I may be a bit biased because I help organizing this party, but if you're interested in demos and the scene, coming to the Mekka & Symposium is a definite must. See you there! :)
The Party (http://www.theparty.dk)The largest demo scene party in Europe. At least the largest computer party with more-than-irrelevant demo scene visitors. Since 2000, they try to get back to a more scenish feeling, so I think attending this party (taking place in Aars/Denmark between XMas and New Year) definitely pays off.
People
---
Well, uh... read for yourself.
Culture & Technology
---
A more or less virtual salon of writers of lyric and stories who like to get their works published on the net and discuss about them... If you're interested in German "underground" literature, check this out!
